Tear Gas Disperses Sanaa Protesters

Sana'a, Apr 9, 2011- Central security forces attacked anti regime protesters as they were marching in Sanaa's Hadda St.

Protesters were beaten by baton and tear gas was used to disperse them. According to the medical team in Sanaa Change Square, more than 50 protesters were sent to the field hospital when they inhaled the gas.

"This is the stategy of the government when people try to express their feelings in a democratic manner."

More than 12000 protesters participated in the Sanaa march. No live ammunition was used according to eyewitnesses.
