Yemen, U.S discuss security cooperation

SANA'A, March 15, 2011- Yemen and United State discussed on Tuesday security cooperation between the two friendly countries and was of enhancing them, particularly in the area of fighting terrorism.
This came during a meeting gathered Interior Minister Mutahar Rashad al-Masri and American Ambassador to Yemen Gerald Feierstein.
Al-Masri praised the American support provided for security bodies, pointing out to the security cooperation existed between the two sides.
For his part, the U.S. diplomat hailed the efforts exerted by the Yemeni security bodies in fields of fighting terrorism and crime
He further noted to the country's endeavors to tackle the terrorist elements as well as ensure the safety of the demonstrators in some Yemeni governorates.
