Parliament summons CBY's Governor for scarcity of dollars

SANA'A, March 15, 2011- Parliament agreed Tuesday on a request by its Member Nabil al-Basha to summon Governor of the Central Bank of Yemen (CBY) on Wednesday to clarify on the shortage of foreign currencies in the local market, specially the U.S. dollar.

Al-Basha has accused the Bank of fabricating a crisis to prevent foreign currency from the market , which caused a decline in the value of the Yemeni Riyal against other currencies.
