Mareb, Mar 14, 2011- Medical sources said that, Naji Al-Zaeedi, governor of Mareb province was stabbed by anti-government protesters when they attacked him at his office inside the government headquarters.
Sources told the Yemen 24 News that four soldiers of his bodyguards were wounded and other citizens during an exchange of gun fire between the soldiers and anti-protesters as they attacked the headquarters.
On the other hand, an armed group in Al-Jowf province attacked an army headquarters, killing the head of the headquarters and wounding two soldiers.
Private sources said that the attackers burnt two patrol vehicles and stole other military equipments.
