Bahrain, Yemen travel advice issued

The Foreign Ministry has issued a warning against travel by Maltese to Bahrain and Yemen because of the worsening political situation in those countries.

There are currently 15 Maltese in Bahrain and five in Yemen, a spokesman for the ministry said. The ministry had been in touch with them through the Maltese embassy in Riyadh but they intended to stay put for the time being.
