SANA'A, March 18 (Saba) - The Public Health and Population Ministry appealed Friday to the sit-inners outside Sana'a University to allow its ambulances and medical help to enter the field hospital outside the university to help treat and transport those who were wounded.
An official at the ministry assured the ministry will be responsible for any patient taken to one of the public hospitals.
There is coordination between the ministry and the field hospital outside the university to facilitate providing healthcare for those who were wounded in the violence after the Friday prayers at the university, the official said.
The ministry has already sent medications, medical teams and ambulances to help the hurt sit-inners through the University of Science and Technology Hospital, the official said, adding that the ministry has also prepared operation rooms in al Jomhory and al Thawra hospitals to receive the wounded according to its humanitarian policies.
