SANA'A, Mar 7, 2011- President Ali Abdullah Saleh met on Sunday with military, security and political leaders and they discussed the latest developments in the country and ways to prevent troublemaking and violence and ways to preserve the national unity, stability and security.
The meeting called for a comprehensive national dialogue in which all political forces, civil society and youth organizations, lawmakers and Shura members, local councils, clerics, sheikhs and social figures and women should participate to address the current national issues and to produce a united vision to protect the national unity, security, democracy and accomplishments.
It also raised the issue of heinous attacks against Yemeni military officers and soldiers killing and injuring them including the attacks by suspected al Qaeda members that killed today four including an officer in Marib and two intelligence officers in Sayoon, Hadramout and Abyan, and the killing of a soldier in Saada in the hands of Houthis.
The meeting offered sympathies to the families of the victims, approving strict security measures and precautions to preserve the public security and track fugitives and suspects.
