Health ministry serves protesters professionally, says Rase'a

SANA'A, Mar 20, 2011- Minister of Public Health and Population Abdul-Karim Rase'a affirmed on Sunday in a press conference that his ministry has put all its abilities to serve protesters either in favor or against the government at a high level of professionalism.

He noted that there are higher directives to provide medication for all segments of the society without any political consideration at the cost of the country.

The minister pointed out that his ministry has received requests to send ambulances to help taking bodies of the killed people for burial.

He denied reports that government hospitals refused to receive injured people as well as rumors that those hospitalized due to attacks will be arrested.

The minister also pointed out that the number of injured people reached 183.
