Minister Warns of School Involvement in Politics, Party Polemics

SANA'A- Feb 28, 2011- The Education Minister Abdul Salam Al-Jawfi affirmed on Monday that his ministry will never allow to involve the educational process in political and party polemics.

He urged all the political parties and organizations to avoid using education as a tool for their political ambitions, warning of attempts to drag the students to the political conflicts.

The Education Ministry will take necessary measures ensured by the law toward the absent students or those seeking to manipulate the educational process.

"We urge the political parties to respect the constitution which prevents the involvement of the young below 18 in political organizations," he said, pointing to the social responsibility toward educating the children appropriately for bright future.
