SANA’A, August 09 (Saba)- Saudi Arabia ranked first in the list of importers of fish from Yemen.
According to the Ministry of Fisheries, Saudi Arabia imported 20257 tons of fish and marine life during the first half of 2011, with a cost of more than US$ 71 million.
In a statement to Saba, Ghazi Ahmed Lahmer Undersecretary of the Ministry of Fisheries said on Tuesday that his country's exports of fish and marine life covered 33 countries of which Saudi Arabia ranked first.
