Ansar Al-Sharia Allocates Five Million to Help Catch 12 Yemeni Forces

Sana'a, June 16, 2011- The Al-Qaeda-linked group Ansar Al-Sharia, or supporters of Islamic Sharia laws listed in a statement the names and ranks of 12 air force and army officers it said it intended to kill for taking part in attacks last week against its members in Abyan province.

The group allocated five million rials ($25000) as a reward to give information about 12 names who participated on the attacks against them in Yemen's southern province of Abyan.

They also allocated the same money for people who will kill one of the 12 names.

Ansar Al-Sharia's fighters have captured lately the Abyan towns of Zinjibar and Jaar.
