PARIS, March 11, 2011- The French government has confirmed the importance of adopting a real and credible reform in Yemen.
"We were noted of the initiative announced by President Ali Abdullah Saleh, and for our part, we hope and wish all parties in Yemen to engage in a successful democratic process which guaranties civil and political rights", a French Foreign Ministry spokesman, Bernard Valero, said in a press conference held in Paris.
"We hope see a real, credible and acceptable process in Yemen. That is necessary to reduce tensions and to strengthen the unity and stability of Yemen".
In addition, the French official said that his country is following up with great interest and concern the situation in Yemen.
"In fact, we are interested in the stability of this friendly country", he added
