Yemeni Court Sentence Seven Drug Smugglers to Death

Sana'a- Feb.20, 2011, A Yemeni Court in Hadramout sentenced seven drug smugglers, including a fugitive, to death after of being accused of brining in and possessing 2.4 tons of narcotic substances.

The verdict was included of confiscating the two boats they used for transferring the drugs, in addition to some weapons.

The suspects were captured in September 2009, while trying to bring about 2.4 tons of Hashish into Yemen by sea in Haswin area of southern province of Mahrah.
