President Saleh Calls Yemeni Opposition to Dialogue

Sana'a- Feb 20, 2011, Yemen's President Ali Abdullah Saleh renewed his call for the Yemeni opposition, the Joint Meeting Parties, JMP, to resume dialogue with the ruling General People Congress party due to civil unrest through the country.

Saleh's call came on Sunday in his meeting with capital's political and social figures in which he called on the opposition parties for dialogue, "Dialogue is the best means, not sabotage or cutting off roads," said Saleh.

He confirmed readiness to meet their demands if they are legitimate, "I am ready to sit on the negotiating table and meet their demands if they are legitimate''.
