SANA'A, April 15, 2012- Yemen's Defense Ministry accused Al-Qaeda
militants of killing three children in Yemen's southern province of Hadhramout.
The ministry said that the children were on their way to school in a
roadside bomb targeting a security officer in the province.
According to the ministry Yemeni air force planes destroyed a vehicle on
the road between al-Jaradi and al-Zaher cities in the southern province of Baydha
On Saturday, killing three leading al-Qaeda terrorists.
Separately, Yemen's Interior Ministry said that its security forces were
on alert for a potential attack by al-Qaeda targeting vital and government facilities
across the country after they being stormed lately by Yemeni government troops
backed by tribesmen in their hideouts in Abyan province killing more than 200
militants during past a few days.
The ministry called on residents to report any terrorist activities. No further
details were reported.
