Yemen denies reports of landmine attack on Defense Minister

SANA’A, August 30 (Saba)- Yemen’s Defense Ministry denied on Tuesday media reports claim that a convoy of the Defense Minister was hit by a landmine blast in Abyan province and two of his bodyguards were killed.

Speaking to Saba, a source in the ministry confirmed that Defense Minister Major General Mohammed Nasser Ahmed was not subjected to any attack, adding those reports were unfounded at all.
