President Saleh reiterates welcome of GCC efforts

SANA'A, April 21 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh reiterated on Thursday welcome of the efforts made by the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries to address the crisis in Yemen.

President Saleh affirmed on the positive dealing with those efforts so as to achieve the interest of Yemen and its security ,stability and unity as well as the security and stability in the region.

This came during his meeting with the GCC Secretary General Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani

During the meeting, Al Zayani conveyed the vision of the GCC Countries Foreign Ministers to resolve the crisis in Yemen in light of the discussions carried out recently with the delegation of the ruling General People's Congress (GPC) and its allies in the National Democratic Coalition Parties (NDCPs) in the UAE capital Abu Dhabi and the delegation of the joint meeting parties (JMP) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

At the meeting, President Saleh and Al Zayani discussed the existing cooperation between Yemen and the GCC countries and the ongoing developments in the region.
