Saleh confirms Yemen's commitment to values of democracy

SANA'A, Mar 20, 2011- President Ali Abdullah Saleh confirmed on Sunday Yemen's commitment to the values of democracy and the right of peaceful expression of opinion away from violence and chaos.

This came during a meeting gathered President Saleh with European Union (EU) ambassadors to Yemen, who discussed bilateral relation between Yemen and the UE.

The two sides touched on the latest developments in the region and in Yemen and the EU's role in serving security and stability in Yemen.

At the meeting President Saleh reviewed with the efforts made by the Yemeni government for the success of the national dialogue ,topped by his recent initiatives for reforms and the political system development.
